Abstract
The chapter focuses on the people of events. It starts by attempting to understand the corrupt person. Why do they do it? What opportunities are open to them and how do they excuse their conduct. Every day a person is presented with situations where they make a choice. Most people would not think twice about taking the right path, it is just routine. Are the corrupt forced into it? Perhaps it is at that decision choice that the risk of corruption can be minimized.
