About the authors
Paul Bates was born and brought up in Royal Leamington Spa Warwickshire. After leaving Exeter University he started his own business which he ran successfully for over 20 years.Paul then returned to the academic world becoming a lecturer in business law at Bournemouth University. He has been involved in writing, developing and delivering undergraduate business law programmes at degree level and post degree level for many years, and is also a university examiner.
He lives in Dorset with his wife and, at the time of writing two cats, Queenie and Big Puss.
