About Simon Hudson

Simon Hudson is the Center of Economic Excellence (CoEE) Endowed Chair in Tourism and Economic Development, College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management, University of South Carolina. He has held previous academic positions at universities in England and Canada and has worked as a visiting professor in Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Fiji, New Zealand and Australia. Prior to working in academia, Dr. Hudson spent several years in the tourism industry in Europe. He plays golf to a handicap of 12.
