About Donald Getz

Donald Getz is Professor Emeritus, the University of Calgary, Canada, where he was teaching and researching within the Haskayne Business School from 1991 through 2010. He is a leading international tourism and event-studies scholar and was co-founder of the research journal Event Studies in 1993. He has authored or co-authored well over 100 refereed journal articles and a number of bestselling books.
